By removing the effort barrier that excludes millions of vulnerable patients from objective lung-function evaluation each year, FOT expands diagnostic access, improves equity in respiratory care, and meets the real-world needs of pediatric, geriatric, and critically ill populations, driving its integration into routine clinical pathways.
