The company revealed the new edition in Mountain View, California. It described the platform as an AI-powered system built for the $2 trillion construction sector. Intuit said the tool can manage projects, financials, and operations together, giving teams real-time data while reducing manual tasks. It also shared that the new construction features will be available inside QuickBooks Online Advanced as an optional module, strengthening the reach of its construction ERP platform.
Intuit built the construction edition after witnessing a strong adoption of its Enterprise Suite in other industries. The platform already supports health, manufacturing, nonprofit, and field service companies with dashboards and KPIs tailored to each sector. She explained that leaders must monitor dozens of projects while keeping an eye on rising material prices. She added that limited access to grouped business data can slow decisions. According to her, Intuit’s goal is to deliver a system that spots trends quickly, automates repeated steps, and links every part of the project life cycle. She believes this new construction ERP platform will help teams move with more confidence.
The construction industry faces long-standing challenges due to disconnected tools and incomplete financial visibility. Intuit highlighted a recent company survey showing that 93% of construction leaders believe technology can raise productivity and reduce cost pressure. As a result of this, Intuit designed its new edition to mirror real construction workflows rather than retrofitting a generic system, and the company positioned it as a modern construction ERP platform built for real job-site demands.
The new edition aims to support finance leaders with unified workflows, automated processes, and AI insights. The platform includes several new capabilities. A Project Management Agent brings project tracking, budgeting, and cash flow monitoring into a single view. Budget enhancements help teams control spending with AI insights and detailed reports. Proposal tools now allow teams to create or convert estimates and generate documents with e?signatures. Cost groups offer organized tracking of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. AIA?style invoicing helps firms track contract values, billed amounts, and remaining balances. Users welcomed features including project profitability reports that highlight outstanding bills and deeper financial details.
Along with the new construction edition, Intuit introduced several updates across the wider Enterprise Suite. The expanded Sales Tax Agent now includes a filing pre?check tool that scans for mismatches. Business Intelligence tools gained new dashboards and custom KPIs. Third?party integrations improved data flow from external apps. Migration tools also received updates to simplify moving from QuickBooks Desktop.
The construction edition is now available in beta at no extra cost for existing Enterprise Suite customers in the construction sector. It will also be offered as a paid add-on for QuickBooks Online Advanced users.
