Netherton syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that presents the three following characteristics: Ichthyosiform erythroderma, a red, inflamed, scaly skin. Trichorrhexis invaginata – short, brittle, lustreless hair, Atopic diathesis – predisposition to allergy problems. Netherton syndrome is inherited as an autosomal recessive trait disease.
